AISHK's 30th Anniversary Ball

The Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK) successfully launched its fundraising campaign for the new Wellness Wing Project with a 30th Anniversary Gala in August 2025. The event raised over HK$300,000, establishing strong initial momentum. This success was driven by a strategic partnership with the Fundraising Agency (TFA), which utilized the SmartRaise platform to execute high-impact live and silent auctions. By sourcing unique, "money-can't-buy" items, the approach maximized bidder participation and donations without disrupting the event's flow. The gala has set a high standard for the series of cost-effective campaigns planned to fund the state-of-the-art wellness facilities for students.

Result

The 30th Anniversary Gala was a resounding success, raising over HK$300,000 and providing powerful momentum for the Wellness Wing Project. The event set a high standard for the upcoming series of fundraising campaigns. 

 

The Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK) is a private co-educational international school in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. Established in 1995, it offers education from Reception (kindergarten) through to Year 12. 

To launch its campaign for the new AISHK Wellness Wing Project, the school hosted a 30th Anniversary Gala in August 2025. This landmark event served as the catalyst for a series of future fundraising initiatives. The project aims to create state-of-the-art play and community areas designed to support the physical and mental wellbeing of all students, from early childhood to secondary school. 

Based on the Fundraising Agency’s (TFA) recommendations, AISHK has subscribed to SmartRaise Unlimited License for 12 months which will allow AISHK to run multiple campaigns cost-effectively throughout the year. FA's Signature Event Package provided Impact Consulting, Dedicated Project Management, and an Onsite Event Team to ensure seamless technology integration and an elevated guest experience. TFA sourced "money-can't-buy" items, including World Cup Final Tickets and a NYC 4-Night Getaway have dramatically increased bidder enthusiasm and participation in both the live and silent auctions. The platform was expertly woven into the event program, making it simple for guests to bid and donate without interrupting the evening's festivities.
