The Children Ball successfully raised critical funds through its auction initiatives, directly supporting children's mental wellbeing programmes. The event demonstrated strong donor engagement, with 79% of registered guests actively participating in the bidding process.


While the auction proved highly effective among participating donors, the results reveal significant potential for future growth. With 300 guests in attendance, the fundraising outcome could be substantially expanded by extending digital participation tools across the full audience. The current success provides a strong foundation for scaling impact at future events through broader implementation of the fundraising platform.

This result highlights a highly motivated donor base and a successful auction strategy. The strong participation rate among registered guests indicates significant potential for even greater impact at future events by extending the digital fundraising tools to a wider audience within the gala.  

 

The Children Ball is a prestigious gala event dedicated to supporting children's mental wellbeing. The 2025 event, held at the Grand Ballroom of the Rosewood Hong Kong, aimed to co-raise funds for the life-changing the WEMP Foundation & Rafael Nadal Foundation programmes and amplify global awareness for this critical cause.

This high-profile gala utilized a focused fundraising strategy centered around live and silent auctions. The objective was to harness the generosity of its 300 attendees to provide essential tools and support for children's mental health initiatives, helping them to write their own success stories. 

The event was supported by the Fundraising Agency, which provided its SmartRaise Fundraising Platform, Dedicated Project Management, Impact Consulting, and an Onsite Tech Manager. This infrastructure created a seamless bidding experience for guests. The auction was successful among participating bidders, demonstrating the effectiveness of the platform where it was used.
