Donor Tip
“Donor Tip” makes it possible for all Givergy’s features to be completely free for our clients to use. You can create as many campaigns as you like, and not get charged a dime.
How is Givergy completely free?
It’s simple! Our “Donor Tip” makes it possible - You choose “Donor Tip” for the payment method and we will ask your supporters to tip Givergy at the checkout.
What if donors don’t want to tip?
Tips will always be optional. Your supporters can edit or remove a tip from their basket. Givergy ensures tips are transparent during the donation process.

Do you have to use Donor Tip?
Not if you don’t want to. You have the option to configure your campaign to be either “Donor Tip” or be “set payment” for processing fee instead.
Platform Fee
If you don't want to use Donor Tip option, there is one more way to use Givergy without paying any upfront fee. With Platform Fee option you agree to a 4% Platform Fee. The Platform Fee can be covered by either the donors or the organizations. It's worth noting that, on average, 87% of donors choose to cover both the platform and the payment processing fees. By doing so, they ensure that 100% of their donations go directly to the cause after covering the fees.

PLATFORM FEE
Q: What is Platform Fee?
A: If you prefer Platform Fee instead of the Donor Tip option, you agree to a 4% Platform Fee, in addition to the payment processing fee (which is HK$0.0395 per HK$1 for all cards and HK$0.045 per HK$1 for Amex), to utilize our award-winning platform for unlimited number of campaigns. 5 best-selling TFA / Givergy Auction & Prize Draw items will be included in your first campaign. These are 0 risk as you will be paid the profit after the supply costs only if they sell and this is automatically managed by the platform. There are no minimum donation requirements. This option is recommended for smaller fundraisers or individuals running campaigns for a cause, particularly if you expect to raise HK$600,000 or less for throughout your campaigns within 12 months.

Q: How can we access Givergy's Fundraising Technology for free if we are not organising an auction?
A: In the case that you are not organising an auction during your fundraising campaign, and you won't be adding TFA / Givergy auction items into your campaign, then the Platform Fee will be updated as 6%.

Q: When can I start fundraising after submitting the Sign Up form?
A: Since we offer the platform only for nonprofit fundraisers, we will review your request promptly after you submit the Sign Up form, typically within 1 business day. Once approved, you will receive your Campaign Management System login credentials, and we'll contact you to guide you through launching your fundraising campaign.
Q: Are there any other fees?
A: Payment Processing Fees and Ticketing Fees, as detailed below, will apply.
Q: What are the Payment Processing Fees?
A: When using HK$0 Upfront Fee model (Donor Tip or Platform Fee) all monies must be processed through Givergy. If funds are marked as paid outside of the Givergy system, an invoice will be raised for the applicable Platform Fee. This condition applies even when using the Donor Tip Model. Givergy uses Stripe Inc (“Stripe”) to process user payments. The Client shall create a Stripe Connect account which shall include Client's bank account details and this must be verified before your first event. Stripe holds all monies for the Client in a separate account solely used for the benefit of the Client. Client agrees that Givergy will charge and retain from the Client's Stripe account a fee of 3.95% for all cards, except for American Express with a fee of 4.5%, and for all monies processed through the Givergy payment platform to cover all administration, processing and banking fees (the “Payment Processing Fee”).
Q: What are the Ticketing Fees?
A: If using Givergy Ticketing Services, you will pay Givergy a fee of $50 per ticketing transaction (no matter how many tickets purchased) (“Ticketing Fee”). Ticketing Fee will be applied and retained by Givergy post campaign. Ticketing Fee is in addition to the Payment Processing Fee.
Q: If we don't prefer Donor Tip and Platform Fee, how can we subscribe to the fundraising platform?
A: For larger fundraisers, Givergy Unlimited 12 month subscription is the best solution. In addition, we offer a variety of tailored fundraising packages that provide access to Givergy's cutting-edge award-winning fundraising platform. By including our specially curated auction / prize items and experience packages into your silent and / or live auctions, you will qualify for discounted rates.
